A welcome visit to GOTROOT HQ

On January 21, 2026, students from the Department of Smart Convergence Security at Busan University of Foreign Studies visited GOTROOT HQ for an offensive security industry tour. It was a meaningful opportunity to look beyond the classroom and see how a real-world team works, solves problems, and grows together.

What stood out most was the students’ energy and curiosity. Their questions showed genuine interest in how to grow into white-hat hackers and how to prepare for a career in offensive security.

Questions that showed real passion

During the visit, we talked about red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, the skills needed in practice, and what a real career path in offensive security can look like. The students asked thoughtful and proactive questions, and we tried to share practical insights as honestly as possible.

Offensive security is not a field you can approach casually. It takes persistence, initiative, and a willingness to keep learning. That is exactly the mindset we could feel from the students who visited us.

More than technical skills

At GOTROOT, we do not look only at credentials. We care about persistence, curiosity, and the mindset to keep learning and growing with a team. That is why this visit was so memorable for us as well.

Our door is open

For students who are seriously exploring offensive security and thinking deeply about the white-hat hacker path, GOTROOT’s door is always open. If you are willing to learn, dig deep, and grow with intention, we would be glad to meet you.

This visit reminded us how much potential and passion already exists in the next generation of offensive security talent. We look forward to creating more meaningful connections between education, practice, and people.
